<blurb about what the workshops are and why they are important step in establishing an AI infrastructure that amplifies the capabilities of employees across a company.>

Also need to have an outline of who we are working with, pre-work, and all up objectives.

Workshop 1: AI infrastructure review and people/company objectives alignment

Download from IT and HR people objectives | 1 hour

Overview
This workshop aligns the AI infrastructure IT has deployed with how HR wants to support employees in the era of AI. It is an education session, not a working session — HR and Carpool gain visibility into what's already available, IT establishes its role as the technical foundation, and the concept of sentinels is introduced as a thread that carries through later workshops.

Who's in the room

  • IT AI infrastructure lead(s) — people who can walk through how the AI infrastructure is set up and will be used

  • HR leader — someone who can speak to how employees are being supported and entrusted with evolving inside this new AI-infused environment

  • Optional: Compliance lead

Questions this workshop answers

  • What AI infrastructure do we already have, and are we using it?

  • What's the difference between AI tools and AI agents?

  • What are sentinels, what do they watch, and where do they sit?

  • Where are the biggest capability gaps relative to where we want to go?

Agenda (1 hour)

  1. IT review of infrastructure — what's live, what's licensed (20 min)

  2. Capability mapping — what can the current stack actually do? (10 min)

  3. HR people objectives — current people goals as they relate to AI (15 min)

  4. Sentinel introduction — definition, examples, candidate functions (10 min)

  5. Discussion / Prep for workshop 2 (5 min)

Outcomes

  • A shared vocabulary for AI agents and tools

  • Awareness of current infrastructure (what's live, licensed, available)

  • Understanding of sentinel concept and example use cases

  • Visibility into HR's people objectives as they relate to AI
