vision.

Millions of people already love this company’s products. Finding a way to create an official community that delivers value, individual engagement, and scalability to a large global following can only be done with the right strategy and plan of execution.

Seeking to incorporate thousands of micro-communities into the official global community

Month after month, millions of web visitors seek ways to learn more about Gladys’ company.  In addition to an official website, there are innumerable ways and social media locations that customers can connect with, to discuss the company’s products and services.  Gladys was tasked with building a community for all customers, but it needed to be scalable and inclusive enough to integrate the official visitors as well as millions of unofficial micro-community-based visitors. Carpool’s job was to help create the strategy for melding the methodology and the processes to bring the larger global “community” together.

4M monthly unique visitors seeking information

2,000 certifications awarded daily to visitors seeking a mastery level of the company’s products

20M people projected to be part of the “community”

Gladys knew that building a community for the many people that wanted to know more about her company’s products and services would be a mammoth undertaking. What she didn’t know, was how to attract and integrate the innumerable micro-communities that already existed. To help craft the strategy and plan for this massive community, Gladys asked Carpool for guidance.

Carpool conducted deep analysis of the existing community including web traffic analysis, stakeholder sentiment analysis, and exhaustive community and competitor analysis. From this, Carpool developed a strategy for leveraging the status and built-in familiarity of existing micro-community leaders. Gladys was advised how to integrate outside communities with the new official community, and also provide a pathway for global scalability and reach, irrespective of language, culture, or time zones.

Gladys began promoting the strategy internally, and after an in-depth internal review, the strategy and overall community plan was approved. Gladys was also asked to work with internal stakeholders, and together with Carpool, created a cadence and flow integrating and informing Gladys’ large organization on the work of the new community movement.

After months of preparation, the community opened in a pilot phase using a selected number of micro-community leaders with their own followers who were keen to know more about Gladys’ company. The initial public launch is slated for mid-2023.

“Carpool delivered the right strategy and the best plan of action to make our vision a reality.  I simply could not have done it without the Carpool team.”
