It’s always
about the
people.
The Microsoft + Carpool partnership has spanned the last 15 years and we have always focused on employees.
From community management and content curation to infrastructure architecture and information flow, our primary goal is still to make Microsoft its “first and best customer.”
By working in the business, doing work with the people who make goodness happen at Microsoft, we can learn firsthand how to leverage and utilize the tools Microsoft builds.
A shared vision of the future
An evolved employee experience in a modern workplace is a logical and linear step after digital transformation. Carpool has worked with a long list on internal Microsoft teams and organizations to ensure that the tools that propel the world forward are utilized as much as possible by the people who create them. We have found this is best done by allowing people to find their own value; and by
The next chapter of artificial intelligence has begun. We call our contribution to this massive shift MicroAI (or littleAI.) MicroAI is the opposite of broad sweeping AI change—it leverages modern technology at the level of the business, or where the individual employee is directly impacted. MicroAI introduces the same technological advancements in smaller, incremental bursts. Direct business impact is easier to measure, faster to adopt, and easier to understand.
Our commitment to modern work and the latest technological change waves are fundamental to our commitment to being a Microsoft partner. Our promise to our Microsoft clients, past, present and future is captured in three areas of focus: Ecosystem fluidity, the authentic employee, and a foundational solution that is uniquely Microsoft.
Ecosystem fluidity
How successfully information is created, consumed, shared, and acted upon is largely determined by the familiarity people have with the infrastructure in which they work. People, information, and infrastructure are the core variables in a communication ecosystem and must be syncopated in a way that is naturally human.
In order to sustain ecosystem fluidity, a modern workplace has to take into account all three elements when designing and managing an effective employee experience.
The authentic employee
Diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging is weaved into everything we do at Carpool, but we feel being one’s authentic self is an organizational strategy. It connects the HR with the business and leverages the technological foundation built by IT.
An authentic employee transformation focuses on engagement and role mastery, motivation and career ownership. Being able to be an authentic employee requires a cultural transformation.
The payout is employees who feel like they belong. And people who belong typically impact a company’s bottom line positively.
Uniquely Microsoft
We are pretty sure employees Microsoft know this, but not many people who don’t work in IT know it. The Microsoft ecosystem is the only business solution that ties pretty much all an employee’s tools together in a cohesive and fluid way.
The modern work ecosystem that has been built by Microsoft makes work not just easier, but better and faster. Whether it’s the standard office suite or a biz app in Teams, traversing complex processes and operations is streamlined by Microsoft.
The world needs to know that a Frankenstein IT solution makes life harder, and who really wants that?
